Dr. MohammedMukhtarIftekhar.
A general physician who has built his decade-long practice around a clear conviction — that good medicine begins long before a prescription is written. It begins with presence, with attention, with the patience to truly understand what's happening with the person sitting across from you. Today he sees patients at Saba Clinic in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

From medical
school to Saba Clinic.
After completing his MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and pursuing his MD in General Medicine, Dr. Iftekhar spent five years at one of the city's busiest public hospitals — an experience he calls the most formative of his career.
"You learn medicine quickly in a place like that," he reflects. "But you also learn what's missing — the time, the warmth, the small acts of care that turn a visit into something a patient remembers."
"Every patient deserves to feel heard before they're handed a prescription."
In 2014, he established his own practice at Saba Clinic in Banjara Hills — a small, deliberately quiet space designed to do one thing well: deliver thoughtful general medicine to families across Hyderabad. A decade and over five thousand patients later, the philosophy hasn't changed.
Outside of the consultation room, Dr. Iftekhar continues to publish in peer-reviewed journals, mentors junior doctors, and is an active member of the Indian Medical Association.
